Team X Mini-Mysteries
In Mrs. Anthony's English class, we read and solved mystery stories online written by eighth grade students in North Mankato, Minnesota (http://www.isd77.k12.mn.us/schools/dakota/mystery/contents.html). We found that by gathering clues we were practicing good reading skills as well as using critical thinking skills.
After being so inspired, students wanted to write some of their own mini-mysteries. Hence, Mrs. Anthony made it into a contest of sorts, so we paired up and got to work. The top five can be found here!
